Our Values
First and foremost we value life! We believe that the pursuit of a happier, healthier, longer life helps us flourish along the way and create limitless possibilities.
We value people. Human beings, their bodies and minds and souls; you and us and everyone else. We are in this together. If people live better and be happier, we all stand to benefit from the contagious effect it will have.
We value the truth. There is too much information out there, and too much marketing that’s looking to make a quick profit. For most people it’s very challenging to validate the right from the wrong. With a diversity and proliferation of educated opinions and expertise we strive to remove the noise and uncover the pure signal. We are committing ourselves to share our discoveries with everyone.
We value quality. There’s a whole spectrum of plausibility out there, and it’s not easy to tell good from bad (and sometimes even harmful) when it comes to our health. We’re devoted to (re)defining what quality is in the context of health, to delving deep into both products and services, and unveil how this quality translates to better health.
We value positive, disruptive and sustainable change. Change is a vital element of learning and growth, both personally and collectively. We believe a fundamental change is essential in the way we evaluate, execute and talk about our health and wellbeing.
We value innovation that makes people better off. Our mantra is: “There’s got to be a better way”. We believe there are multiple turning points ahead of us that can lead to a better life. We are here to promote a new way of thinking to accomplish a better future for all.
We value genuine support, encouragement and collaboration. People around us, near and far, have always been our best inspiration. We believe that our greatest accomplishments are achieved together, as a community, and that we’re inspired and empowered by one another.
We value curiosity and asking questions. We believe that the best answers are out there but not enough was done to uncover them, sometimes because we just don’t persist enough. We never just “leave it at that.” We strive to always ask five times “why” on every assumption or assertion we make.
We value rich conversations and active listening. We believe that the collective mind power of brainstorming is infinitely superior to any single mind. From our experience, the wisdom of the whole and a rich exchange of ideas is bigger than the sum of its parts, and the brainchild of a group discussion is a much more sound foundation for sustainable change. Just like the Homebrew Computer Club that spawned the personal computer revolution with Silicon Valley as its epicenter, and changed the world in the most profound way.
We value making a significant, measurable impact. We think big, and we strive to act big. Nonetheless, we still take incremental steps and always validate our results scientifically. We are here to move mountains and help millions everywhere live healthier happier longer lives. Nothing less would suffice. And we won’t wait for any mountain to come to us. We’re committed to finding the mountain, wherever it may be and conquer it for the greater good.
We value doing no harm first - primum non nocere. Our values start and end here. We will meticulously and diligently make sure that what we do and say causes no harm to any human being. If we bring harm to even a single person we will retreat, recalibrate, realize and re emerge smarter and better to help even more people live long and flourish.
